Content Responses
**OPTIONAL: Make-up/Bonus Content Response (10pts)**
DUE 12/2 – NOT ACCEPTING LATE SUBMISSIONS
This content response is optional. If you choose to do it, and do it well, you can earn up to 10 points—this includes 5 additional bonus points on your overall final content response grade.
This make-up/bonus content response can be applied in a few ways:
- Replacing the lowest of the 7 content response grades.
- Adding to your content response count if you are short of the 7 required.
- If you have done 7 responses and got the max 5 points on all of them, then I would simply swap this one out (it becomes beneficial then if you earn more than 5 points on it)
If you choose to do this assignment, I will apply the points you earn in the way most advantageous to your grade. If the work is done poorly or is plagiarized (i.e., you earn too few or zero points) I will not use the assignment to make your grade lower than it otherwise would have been.
Here is the assignment:
Please write a 500-word reflection on the Afterword (The Rental Housing Boom: New Frontiers of Housing Financialisation) in Raquel Rolnik’s book Urban Warfare. You must reference specifics from the text to support your thoughts and reflections. If your writing reads as a general summary, lacks specifics, or sounds like an AI-generated book review – it will reflect in a low grade.
A PDF of the entire book Urban Warfare is posted to our Brightspace library.
This is due on December 2, I will not be accepting late submissions.
